Welcome to the Part Time Home Financial Officer! This is intended to be a helpful place for those of you who have (or share) the role of maintaining your and your family's money related issues and chores.
While, in theory, Part Time HFO should be helpful for everyone, my situation and focus is on those middle years that become a bit of a tedious slog between getting your feet under you and retirement.
Everyone's circumstances are different, yet the need to stay on top of your financial situation is universal. I have certainly procrastinated on taking care of some money-related tasks since they are often important, but not urgent.
